De Schorren, Texel.

One of the richest bird areas of Texel is the salt marsh area de Schorren. It is a flood refuge for many wading birds.

Oystercatcher, Bar-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Curlew, Red Knot, Common Redshank, Dunlin, Grey plover, Great Ringed Plover, Greenshank, Spotted Redshank, Pied Avocet, Eurasian Wigeon, Great Cormorant, Common Teal, Pintail, Brent Goose, Common Eider, Spoonbill and gulls can be seen resting on the edge of the marsh.
